As a comp/concept artist, it’s a rare treat when I have a chance to go “all out” on images. I was asked to create these comps for three bus stop posters as part of a Blue Cross Blue Shield campaign called “Adventurers”. The agency had previously used my storyboards to sell the TV commercials as part of this same campaign.
The art director was very specific as to what visual elements should be in each piece. One round of sketches with a few minor tweaks was all that was needed to move on to highly-finished comp art. We all had a great time working on these images.
